Our last newsletter was about practicing Reiki in a professional
manner, and this second one continues in a similar vein.
Reiki practitioners must ask themselves, “When someone comes in
to visit me for a Reiki treatment, are they treated well, and
with respect, or do I have my own agendas that I push upon the
client?”
This specifically refers to how the practitioner communicates
with the client, is it helpful to the client? Does the
practitioner speak in “high fallootin”, “airy fairy” language
about chakras, auras, birth signs and so on? Or does he or she
speak in language and concepts that the client can actually
understand and get something out of?
For example, if I mentioned to a client that there is a problem
with his or her third chakra, how does this help the person?
Does it make her change her life? Does it make her feel better?
What does it do to change her condition? Does it empower the
person to do well in her day to day affairs?
I think not. All it does is give a person an idea that there is
some fault in their “esoteric” body system, and how do they
change or fix it? They cannot, it is impossible.
So, when a Reiki practitioner speaks to a client in this way it
is really his agenda that is coming through. It is his view of
the Universe that he is communicating to the client. He is not
giving useful information that the client can actually use in
her recovery. So we’d like you to keep this in mind the next
time you are talking to a client during or after a Reiki
treatment.
Secondly, the Reiki practitioner should ask himself “Am I
interested in my client’s development and happiness?” As a Reiki
practitioner you are in a unique position to help your client
recover from different ailments and problems that concern her
and so, skilful communication is important.
You see, a Reiki practitioner does not need to set himself up as
a “Godman”; all he needs to be is a normal person who applies
Reiki to help people with differing ailments, that is all. Also,
kind words, and comforting are also useful.
My dear one, Reiki practitioners should not harm their clients
by promising that they will cure them. As a Reiki practitioner
you cannot guarantee this and this is an obvious mistake as
pointed out in that last newsletter. What you can do for your
client is give them kind words of encouragement to help them
improve and get better. If you have nutritional training, your
help here may assist your client.
In your Reiki training course, which is probably 1, 2 or 3 days
for Reiki 1 and Reiki 2, you are not doing a full degree in
herbal medicine or psychology for that matter. You are simply
learning a "hands on", esoteric healing system called Reiki
which is a very simple system. Therefore the training does not
put you in a position to communicate esoteric truths like, “Your
chakras are damaged”, or “The colour of your aura is blue” etc.
It is important for the Reiki practitioner to ask, “How do these
statements charkas and aura etc. help the client? Does it give
her any strategies to improve her lifestyle? Does it alleviate
her symptoms?”
No, these kind of esoteric statements are merely for the
practitioner’s gratification. The practitioner is advertising to
the client that he is a marvellous clairvoyant with definite and
incredible abilities. But we say to you my dear one, such advice
given by practitioners is useless for the client who wants real
change. We suggest you keep your suggestions practical. If you
have expertise in certain practical modalities, then we suggest
that you stick with those.
If you do not, then simply do Reiki and offer them the
Holographic Healing meditation that comes at the back of
Sananda’s book, "Living In The Grace And Love Of Our Lord Jesus
Christ, A Channelled Book From Sananda/Jesus Christ”.
This meditation, as we mentioned in the first newsletter, is a
profound healing meditation that can get to root, core and base
issues concerned with health and well being that a person may be
battling with. You can offer them this meditation easily and
safely which the client can do for 20 minutes a day. It will go
a long to helping them. You can get the book and meditation from

Noriko Kawamura and Tim Budden worked professionally full time
in their own Reiki Clinic for 7 years in Crows Nest, Sydney,
Australia. During this time they developed best practices for
Reiki largely by trial and error from their experiences.
Tim and Noriko are also clairvoyants and conscious channels of
beings from the light. They have recently published a book
channelled from
Sananda (who is also known as
the Lord Jesus) called “Living In the Grace And Love of our Lord
Jesus Christ”. Their Reiki practice also saw the development of
a profound meditation healing system called “Holographic
Healing”. This healing system has been placed on C.D. and is
sold as part of the earlier mentioned channelled book from
Sananda. It may be purchased online at
www.SanandaSales.com
Tim and Noriko are also the founders of a new, extremely
powerful, yet gentle and loving system of Reiki called Joti
Reiki.
Tim and Noriko live in New South Wales, Australia.
